How do I connect Tacit to Slack?

Sign in to your Tacit dashboard and paste your Slack bot token and signing secret. The dashboard walks you through each step.

What messages does Tacit read?

Only messages explicitly sent to it — @mentions, configured emoji reactions, and direct messages. Tacit never passively monitors your workspace.

How do I remove Tacit from my Slack workspace?

Go to your Slack workspace settings → Manage apps → find Tacit → Remove. You can also disconnect from your Tacit dashboard. Your knowledge base data can be deleted on request.
